Green, Griffith & Borg-Breen continues to expand its experienced IP team with the addition of Timothy O’Brien.
Green Griffith is pleased to announce the addition of Timothy O’Brien to its Intellectual Property team as an Associate Attorney. Tim graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Law and earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, with honors, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Tim focuses his practice on patent litigation in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology arts, and has particular experience representing pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigation. Tim has been involved in all stages of patent litigation, including formulating strategies concerning the issues of infringement and validity, fact and expert discovery, dispositive motion practice, resolution at trial, and inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He also has experience in trade secrets and unfair competition. Prior to joining Green Griffith, Tim was involved in complex, large-scale litigation at Latham and Watkins LLP.
